Like any other young adult I enjoy playing video games. The only problem was finding the time to pay them when I had college or work schedules to work around. Thats when I heard about people that were actually paid to test video games. These games were not just simple flash games either, they were the most anticipated games of the given year and were made by some of the most prestigious games developers.

Thats when I found out about membership at Game Testing Ground. For the price of less than $2 a month you could become a member there and have access to vast amounts of knowledge about the paid video game testing industry. Just by joining up there I could find out how to make real money testing games that were yet to be released, and even after they were released you always got a free copy of the game as well!

So I ended up becoming a member over at th Game Testing Ground for 24 months and begun my research into the easy life of paid video game testing. The fact is that the video game industry earns well over $50 billion dollars and year, and to keep earning that money they had to keep their paying customers happy. To keep these customers happy they had to release games that were not only fun and unique, but bug free as well. So that's were the video game testers come in! They are paid money to test the games before release to ensure there are no bugs and that the game runs perfectly for when people purchase the game itself.

This is where Gamer Testing ground comes in. They really are the real deal when it comes to Paid Video Game Testing, and that statement is backed up by over 5 years of being on line. They don't just talk big like the competitors which are copying their website, they actually have a list of over 50 companies that are actively seeking video game testers in which they can pay to test their games.

So I started by submitting multiple applications to companies which made games which interested me. I chose to go for MMORPGs and RTS games so submitted multiple applications to the companies which made these types of games, best of all I was charged no extra fee for this. Eventually I was accepted and begun testing work on a well known RPG game, I was playing it for 12 hours a day, and was being paid for it! The work was simple I played the game like any normal player, however if I found any bugs I would report them to the game creators.

The game then moved on to the open beta were unpaid testers were recruited to start testing the game, but due to my new found experiences with testing they kept me on through the open beta, on my same paid contract.

After that initial job I  came to get a reputation with that company as a knowledgeable games tester, and was invited back whenever they had games to test that interested me. At one stage they had become so happy with my work that they decided to offer me a full salaried contract where I could work full time testing video games -from home.

So here I am a full time video games tester earning a large salary thanks to the knowledge over at Gamers' Testing Ground. I am still a member over there and actively apply for testing roles from other developers that interest me more on a personal level. With that work in my spare time along with my full time job, it's like I am earning two high paying salaries, and all I have to do is play the latest in video games from home at my own leisure. So if a career in video game testing sounds like a job you would like to do, head over to Gamers' Testing Ground and try it for yourself.
